• About the role
• As Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll lead financial support for our Leasing Collective (Autorama), partnering closely with the Leasing Leadership Team and managers to influence and drive delivery of the full-year financial plan. You’ll own the annual planning and rolling forecast processes for the Autorama legal entity, and provide regular weekly and monthly insights on performance. This role doesn't involve people management but management of an entire business arm from a commercial finance perspective alongside the Commercial Finance Director.
• In this role, you’ll take a proactive approach to understanding new products, building financial models, developing KPIs, and driving commercially sound decisions. You’ll lead monthly reviews and revenue analysis, working with the Business Insight and Reporting teams to ensure information supports strategic decision-making. You’ll also provide ad-hoc analysis as required, constructively challenging stakeholders - including external partners - to ensure financial robustness.
• Success in this role requires strong commercial awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn large datasets into actionable insights. You’ll identify risks and opportunities, influence stakeholders, and help shape commercially compelling strategies.
• This is a highly collaborative role, giving you exposure to teams across Autotrader and the chance to contribute to a range of projects. You’ll be supported by the wider Finance team, empowered to drive positive change, and encouraged to champion continuous improvement. Travel to Hemel Hempstead will be expected approximately once a month, with more frequent visits initially as you build relationships and develop a deep understanding of the business.
• What we're looking for
• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Experience working in a similar commercially focussed role
• Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships and influence stakeholders across financial and non-financial backgrounds
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience modelling data
• Curious individual with strong commercial awareness
• Proactive approach and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work autonomously

• Benefits
• We’re offering a salary of £50,000 – £65,000, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares.
• You'll have 28 days holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve.
