We are seeking a passionate and dedicated coffee shop assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the café.

Qualifications

• Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
• A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with customers positively.
