Working across CNN International’s flagship business TV show - “Quest Means Business” with Richard Quest – and CNN’s wider business coverage, interns will gain hands-on experience with all facets of production. Ideal candidates will have a passion for business news, excellent organisational & logistical skills, and a keen eye for what makes compelling television. Your Role Accountabilities... Booking interviews with CEOs & world leaders Producing TV packages & outside field broadcasts Providing research notes & editorial briefs Helping to write digital articles for cnn.com Coming up with engaging ideas for CNN’s business coverage Qualifications & Experience... Undergraduate or postgraduate journalism degree (not essential), vocational training and/or ability to illustrate a portfolio of work / content (eg: blogs, podcasts, YouTube Channel, etc.) Working in team environments, ideally to strict deadlines. Interest in business news. Ability to work quickly, managing time and multiple priorities effectively. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Have a passion for international news. Be proactive and ready to throw themselves in to any task. Strong written skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Internship... Salary: £28,000 p/a (pro rata) Contract Length: 6 months Start Date: 2nd March 2026 You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects. You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more. You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise! Next Steps… Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 16th November (you will not be able to apply after this date). Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 23rd November. Stage 3 (not all roles): For select roles, we will require candidates to complete an additional HireVue assessment consisting of written and/or video responses to questions. The deadline for this will be Sunday 30th November. Final stage: Interviews will take place in January. Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
