Job Title: CNC Mill Turn Setter/OperatorLocation: Leicester (LE3)Shift: Permanent Nights | Monday to Thursday, 18:00–06:00Rate of Pay: £54,000 inclusive of shift allowanceAbout the Opportunity:We’re proud to be supporting a market leader in precision engineering in their search for an experienced CNC Mill Turn Setter/Operator to join their night shift team in Leicester.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled aerospace machinist who takes pride in producing complex, high-integrity components to the highest standards.The Role:As a key member of the machining team, you’ll be setting and operating 3–5 axis CNC Mill Turn machines to manufacture precision-engineered aerospace components. Working from structured manufacturing plans, you’ll ensure every part meets tight tolerances and strict quality requirements.Key Responsibilities: Set and operate multi-axis CNC Mill Turn machines to produce precision aerospace components.Read and understand CNC programs, making adjustments as required for tool offsets and datums.Conduct thorough in-process inspection using precision measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, CMM, shadow graphs, etc.).Work collaboratively to maintain machine efficiency and workflow.Carry out Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) and daily checks to ensure consistent machine performance.Adhere to all company and industry quality procedures and documentation standards.
