- As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage advanced cloud infrastructure that powers scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions leveraging the latest technologies, from AWS and Kubernetes to serverless architectures and DevOps practices. The role offers a dynamic environment where automation, innovation, and technical excellence are key. You’ll be at the forefront of digital transformation, solving complex challenges and driving cloud strategy across global projects.
Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructures using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Manage and maintain Linux and Windows environments, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and Python to streamline cloud operations.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to deploy scalable and consistent environments.
- Work on web services, APIs, and distributed systems for modern, cloud-native applications.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using AWS Code Services, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Participate in the on-call support roster to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Continuously learn and gain certifications in emerging cloud technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience and 5+ years in system administration.
- Strong background in Linux administration, Bash scripting, and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Proficiency in web services, APIs, REST, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Basic programming skills in Python or similar languages.
- Knowledge of serverless technologies, Kubernetes, and AWS specialty certifications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, customer orientation, and the ability to thrive in a startup-like environment serving enterprise clients.
