We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinical Practice Team Lead to work onsite at our Primary Care practice located at 414 Haverhill Street in Rowley, MA. The practice hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. We’re seeking a Clinical Practice Team Lead who is: -Hands-on, with a focus on optimizing daily operations/workflows, strengthening team cohesion, and onboarding new team members -Excited to partner closely with both the Practice Manager and Medical Assistant Lead, taking ownership of day-to-day practice operations to assist with team alignment, collaboration, communication and structure across the group -Motivated by mentoring, problem-solving, and helping an already strong team perform at the top of their job scope -Providing Regular team huddles and follow up meetings to support communication, accountability, and sustained improvement -This leader will have the opportunity to create and standardize clear workflows to improve efficiency and consistency -Focusing on making the key information available to all staff and coordinating ongoing in services for staff skills development training Job Summary Oversees day to day operation of an outpatient clinic or practice. May assist by assigning and prioritizing workflow, troubleshooting issues, training and orientation, providing back up support for a Supervisor or Manager. Provides guidance and help to others to resolve complex issues and problems. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions: -Performs assigning and prioritizing workflow, troubleshooting issues, training and orientation, providing back up support for leadership. -Acts as "Super User" for scheduling, registration and billing systems. -Provides assistance and training to others in these areas. -May perform more complex or specialized functions (i.e. surgical scheduling, schedule changes/blocking) at more advanced competency level. -May function as a backup for clerical staff to perform routine administrative and clerical duties relating to a clinical service or physician practice office, and make patient appointments and maintain appointment records. -May process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient medical record/LMR. -Call for patient medical records and laboratory test results. -Open and distribute unit mail or faxes. -Type forms, records, schedules, memos, etc., as directed. -Provides functional guidance to related team. -Assists Supervisor with daily activities of practice staff. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Experience office experience 5-7 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong understanding of all Office Suite. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Strong and proven leadership skills. - Ability to work with staff of all levels. - Excellent time management skills. - Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. - Ability to adapt to multiple and rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
