Estates & Campus ServicesTHE POST – REQ000475 - Cleaner - AyrPREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLYWorking within the Campus Services directorate based at the University of the West of Scotland’s Ayr Campus you will work alongside a friendly and supportive team and will participate in the day-to-day programme of cleaning services to ensure that the campus facilities are maintained in a clean, safe and hygienic condition. The successful candidate should have the following:Experience working within an Industrial/Commercial cleaning environment is essentialYou must possess a basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a workplace; further training will be provided.Ability to demonstrate working in a customer focused role with an emphasis on providing quality serviceDemonstrate good customer service skills. Proficient in both written and spoken English – sufficient to meeting the communication and training requirements for the role.Ability to work in a team and on your own.Hours of duty are as follows:1 x Post 6am -10am Monday & Tuesday to Friday 6am - 9am A degree of flexibility is also required to meet the needs of the business.ABOUT USThe University of the West of Scotland is one of Scotland’s largest and most dynamic modern universities.
