Part-Time Class Teacher / Cover Teacher Job Type: Part-time (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)Location: WyreSalary: £168 - £232 per day We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our team in a dual role as a Year 2 Class Teacher on Tuesdays and a Whole School Cover Teacher on Wednesdays. This position is ideal for a flexible and committed educator who enjoys variety and working across different year groups. Day-to-day of the role: Year 2 Teacher (Tuesdays) Job share with the current Year 2 teacher.Curriculum areas to be agreed based on your skills and interests.Focus on early reading, including Phase 6 phonics.Manage a class of 20 pupils, with no high-level needs. Cover Teacher (Wednesdays) Morning: Provide cover for classes during leadership release time.Afternoon: Deliver PPA cover for Year 1 and Year 2, with subjects based on your expertise. Required Skills & Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Experience teaching KS1, particularly Year 2.Strong understanding of phonics and early reading development.Ability to adapt and teach across different subjects and year groups.Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
