Do you want progression to ADR and Class 1?

In this role, you will be collecting wastes—including hazardous waste streams—from and to customers’ premises. This includes batteries, oil, filters, plastics, and other waste products for recycling. You will also deliver both waste consignments and finished company products to customer sites.
You will be responsible for the safe collection and transportation of goods from customers’ premises to our client’s recycling sites, while complying with all relevant legislation. You will assist customers in ensuring waste is stored correctly in appropriately approved containers and act as the point of contact while on site, relaying any additional requirements to the relevant departments. Ensuring adherence to all traffic legislation is essential.


To be successful in this role we required:
• Experience and knowledge of EU and WTD Tachograph Regulations.
• Good geographical knowledge of mainland UK.
• Understanding of Operator Licence obligations and regulations.
• Good understanding of the Highway Code and “Hierarchy of Road Users.”
• Customer-focused with experience managing customer expectations appropriately.
• Flexibility to meet operational needs as required.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage your own agenda.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle complaints effectively, maintaining a solution-focused approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside the department.
• Good attention to detail.
• Positive and motivated with a flexible and adaptable attitude.

This role is a Permanent Placement

You would be starting at 06:00 Monday to Friday (Saturday shifts available)

Your working hours would be between 45 and 56 hours a week!

You would be paid £16.02 an hour
with the following up-lift for weekly nights out:
3 Nights = £75,
4 Nights = £172.10,
5 Nights = £269.20.
