Class 1 HGV Driver – Container Transport (Felixstowe)We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our container transport team in Felixstowe. This role involves operating container vehicles, completing port runs, deliveries, and collections across the region. The position offers consistent work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a reliable and supportive transport team.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a Class 1 container vehicle in compliance with UK road laws and company policies.Complete container deliveries and collections from ports, depots, and customer sites in a timely and professional manner.Ensure containers are securely loaded and safely transported at all times.Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects.Maintain accurate records of working hours, container movements, and delivery documentation.Represent the company professionally and provide excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points.RequirementsValid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card).Minimum of 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience (container experience preferred).Good knowledge of UK ports, road networks, and driving regulations.No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements).Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.What We Offer£17Hr Consistent shifts and regular container work.Weekly pay.
