About

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Operations Manager to join our team working remotely. You will monitor and manage the operational performance of the Claims Teams via relevant data and reports.

What you will do as a Claims Operations Manager

  • Monitor individual caseload volumes within the Team.
  • Monitor workflows and backlogs and plan process improvements to meet SLAs.
  • Analyse performance trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Champion a positive customer journey throughout the claims process.
  • Develop effective monitoring processes to ensure that Claims are reserved accurately within SLAs and reviewed regularly in accordance with SLAs.
  • Produce monthly Claims Performance reports
  • Present MI to senior stakeholders and capacity providers.
  • Support the production of claims bordereaux and other operational reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that monthly QA audits are performed accurately and on time.
  • Develop appropriate Corrective Action to address matters arising from QA and ensure compliance with tasks recorded on Corrective Action Plans.
  • Working with Finance stakeholders to identify and eradicate duplicate payments.
  • Working with Finance to assist with the reconciliation of Claims Floats.
  • Working with Finance to ensure that Cash Calls do not lead to duplicate insurer repayments to Claims Floats.
  • Ensuring that an effective process is in place so that all Claims payments are sanction checked, and positive results are identified and acted upon appropriately.

What we are looking for in a Claims Operations Manager

  • Experience of working within a Claims environment.
  • Knowledge or experience of the relevant insurance or similar regulatory and compliance environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Production of management information and root cause analysis reporting.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
