You will be supporting children with additional needs, complex health conditions, and learning difficulties/disabilities in a warm, home-based environment.This role is all about providing compassionate, safe, and high-quality care. You will work closely with each child to meet their individual needs, offering both practical assistance and emotional support to ensure their short-break stay is positive, safe, and enriching.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver person-centred care to children accessing short breaks.Support children with complex health needs, including PEG feeding and administering buccal midazolam.Use hoists and mobility equipment safely and confidently.Work closely with families and professionals to ensure continuity of care.Keep accurate records and contribute to individual care plans.Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of every child.Essential RequirementsRecent experience working within a short breaks service for children.Training and competency in: PEG feedingUse of hoists<
