The role involves full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care, positive outcomes for young people, and full Ofsted compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesRegister with and manage the home in line with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015Lead, develop, and supervise the staff teamEnsure high standards of safeguarding, care planning, and behaviour managementPrepare for and manage Ofsted inspectionsBuild strong relationships with professionals, families, and external agenciesManage staffing, rotas, budgets, and quality assuranceRequirementsLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in an EBD children’s homeStrong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguardingConfident leader with a child-centred, trauma-informed approach
