Site Leader for Primary school Provisions - Level 3 or above in Childcare or Equivalent is required

Magna Are looking for Experienced Site leaders for our Breakfast, and Afterschool provisions in Southwark, SE1, SE15.

Hours:
35 hours per week; Monday – Friday, Term time only. inclusive of Breakfast Club: 07:30-09:00 and Afterschool Club: 14:30-18:00 (Times may differ slightly at different sites.)

Salary: £20,475.00 – Dependant on Experience and Qualifications.

Now Recruiting Site Leaders for our newly added schools Breakfast and Afterschool Clubs Provision.

Individuals who enjoy working with children leading fun activity sessions that will INSPIRE, CAPTIVATE and ENGAGE

· Ability to lead and manage a Team and Site safely, following all Magna and OFSTED rules and procedures.

· Individuals who want to work with children and make their time with us FUN.

· Have the ability to collect children safely, organise a team and lead different activities (Creative, Sports sessions and more) that are active and engaging.

· Hands on individuals who actively engages and participates in the activities with the children.

· The ability to work collaboratively with other Professionals, Parents and Team members.

· The ability to initiate and lead exciting and inspiring activities to engage children.

· The ability to work using your own initiative.

· Good communication skills.

· Experience of working with children of primary age.

· Knowledge of how to keep children safe.

· Knowledge and experience in managing a childcare site.

Qualifications / Education required for this role

· Level 3 or above, Childcare Qualifications or equivalent. (Essential)

· Safeguarding knowledge.

Experience:

· Childcare: 3 years (Essential)

· Leading and Running a full Childcare site: 2 years (Essential)

· Managing a Childcare Setting: 2 Years (Essential)

Licence/Certification:

· Enhanced DBS (required)

· Paediatric First Aid Certification (required)
