Chemistry Teachers Needed Across Liverpool

Pay: £150 - £220 per day, dependent on experience and placement.
The Role:
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be a key part of the school's science department, responsible for:
- Delivering High-Quality Lessons: Planning and teaching engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
- Fostering a Love for Science: Encouraging curiosity and critical thinking through hands-on lab experiments and interactive teaching methods.
- Student Progression: Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and preparing pupils for public examinations.
- Collaborative Working: Liaising with colleagues within the science department to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.
- Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and safe learning environment in line with school policies.
Skills and Qualifications Needed:
To be a successful candidate, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Chemistry or a related science subject with a Chemistry specialism.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry in a UK secondary school.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching.
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to apply for one).
