About the Role: The Chef is a key leadership position responsible for directing all food service operations and creating an exceptional dining experience for our residents. This role ensures that meals meet individual dietary needs and preferences while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Chef leads and develops kitchen staff, manages inventory and vendor partnerships, and collaborates with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to deliver consistently outstanding service. Key Responsibilities Include: Ensuring resident satisfaction through high-quality meal preparation tailored to dietary needs and preferences Maintaining full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards Providing strong leadership, training, and support to kitchen staff Managing vendor relationships and monitoring product quality Maintaining cost control through smart budgeting, inventory oversight, waste reduction, and proper portioning What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent is preferred. ServSafe Manager Training required. CDM/CFPP Certified is required. 5+ years of qualified cooking experience in a supervisory position required. Experience in front and back of the house management in medium to high volume setting preferred (100+ people).
