Responsibilities
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect culinary trends and seasonal offerings.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld.
Manage and train kitchen staff, providing guidance in food preparation and presentation techniques.
Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and maintain inventory levels.
Monitor kitchen expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines without compromising quality.
Plan and execute special events, including catering functions and private dining experiences.
Continuously evaluate the dining experience by gathering feedback and making necessary adjustments to menus.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a fine dining establishment.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Creative flair with a passion for culinary arts and innovation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 07:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.21
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
