Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager New York Ref: DNP9577 US$100000 - US$140000 per annum + Pension, health insurance, bonus etc. THE ROLEMy client, an established firm of PQS now seeks a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join them in NEW YORK, USA.You will work on a range of projects mainly for office fit outs and office refurbishment projects.They are keen to find an ambitious QS who has been working for a firm of PQS and who is MRICS qualified.My client offers good prospects.THE COMPANYMy client is a firm of PQS with a good range of clients mainly in the private sector and public sectors.They are a firm of construction consultants offering clients both cost management and project management services.They have several offices including in the UK and the USA.THE CANDIDATEYou will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for a UK or US firm of PQS.You need to have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or Construction Economics.You need to have experience of working on projects for landlords or occupiers to include office fit-outs and office refurbishments.You need to have good pre contract Quantity Surveying experience.You should be keen to make a long term move to the USA unless you are already there.You will need to have a 1 to 3 years or more experience post chartership (MRICS qualified).You should be able to work as part of a friendly team.You should have a stable work record with experience gained either in the UK, Ireland or the USA
