• Responsibilities
• Development Office Telephone Fundraiser (DARO)
• Casual rate

Under instruction and following appropriate training

• Undertake fundraising calls to alumni that have been allocated to them based on a number of factors
• Update alumni on University projects, news and events
• Check and update the details we hold on each individual, including address, job description etc
• Update their communications preferences
• Inform individuals about Durham’s philanthropic projects and ask them to make a donation
• Accurately record and data changes and donation information in specialist software
• Follow the University’s Data Protection Policy
