Full time continuing opportunity (hybrid) Lead investigations that make a real difference to staff experience and organisational integrity Base Salary $126,065- $142,171 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The new Case Management and Remediation team, within Workplace Relations and Compliance, is dedicated to supporting the University in meeting its compliance obligations. The team contributes to the University’s compliance objectives by driving the investigation and resolution of claims and enquiries, including pay outcomes. The team also has a key role in continuous improvement and the development of the University’s capabilities and understanding of workplace compliance, across all faculties and business areas, ensuring correct and consistent application of University‘s policies and procedures, industrial agreements and legislative requirements. The Case Officer Lead, Management & Remediation plays a pivotal role in the Workplace Compliance & Policy team, leading the triage and investigation of wage‑related enquiries to ensure fair, accurate and compliant pay outcomes across the University. You will oversee complex case work, guide Case Officers through sensitive investigations, analyse data to identify risks, and prepare clear findings and recommendations that inform organisational decision‑making. You will build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across HR, faculties, payroll and legal teams, contributing to a culture of integrity, compliance and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone with strong judgement, investigative capability and a passion for strengthening workplace compliance in a complex, high‑impact environment. Your key responsibilities will be to: lead the triage and progression of wage‑related enquiries and investigations analyse information and data to identify compliance issues and risks prepare clear investigation findings and recommendations for senior stakeholders support Case Officers with guidance, stakeholder engagement and evidence gathering build strong working relationships across HR, payroll, faculties and legal teams maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and broader compliance initiatives. About you strong understanding of compliance, regulatory and industrial frameworks experience conducting complex investigations and preparing clear findings and recommendations skilled in analysing information and data from multiple sources to identify risks and issues proven ability to manage high‑volume case work with sound judgement and attention to detail excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups advanced problem‑solving skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data review and analysis.
