About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated Careers Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this student-facing role, you'll design and deliver impactful career education and one-to-one guidance to empower students and recent graduates as they plan and manage their futures. You'll work collaboratively with academic departments and colleagues to develop career-enhancing initiatives, while also representing the Careers Service across the university and beyond.

Clients may include any or all of current undergraduate and post-graduate students, graduates, pre-entry students, post-doctoral students, early career researchers and other staff of the institution. You will collaborate with colleagues on activities that enhance the quality and effectiveness of SOAS Careers Service. Additionally you will represent the service and institution to internal and external stakeholders.

We are recruiting for one part time permanent role. The postholder will join a team of around 12 Careers professionals, and be line managed by the Head of Careers.
