About

  • Company Description
  • Bring Your Life Experience to a Role That Truly Matters!
  • As the festive lights twinkle and the season fills with warmth, joy, and togetherness, Christmas is the perfect time to start something truly meaningful. If you’re someone with a wealth of life experience, emotionally grounded, reliable, and naturally caring, you already have the qualities that make an exceptional Care Professional. Whether you're retired, semi-retired, or simply looking to share kindness during the most heartfelt time of year, this could be the rewarding opportunity you’ve been wishing for.
  • At Home Instead Truro, Falmouth & Redruth, we’ve been proudly supporting our community since 2009. Our companionship-led care helps clients stay in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by familiar traditions, festive cheer, and a sense of dignity. This is a role built on connection, emotional understanding, and heartfelt support, especially during a season where kindness means even more.
  • Job Description
  • What You’ll Be Doing (Bringing Festive Cheer! )
  • Offering genuine companionship — sharing Christmas memories, enjoying a festive cuppa, listening to carols, or helping clients feel included in seasonal traditions.
  • Assisting with daily tasks like dressing, bathing, and grooming — helping clients feel comfortable and cared for as the weather gets chillier.
  • Preparing comforting meals — perhaps a warm winter soup, or a festive treat.
  • Providing medication (full training included).
  • Helping with light household tasks—keeping the home cosy and welcoming during the festive season.
  • Offering emotional support — Christmas can be a tender time for many, and your presence can make all the difference.

  • Your reliability and emotional maturity make a real impact — clients feel safe and supported knowing you're there.
  • Flexible hours that suit your lifestyle — ideal if you want to balance purpose with personal time.
  • You don't need care experience — your life experience is your superpower, and we provide all the training you need.
  • Meaningful, feel-good work — each visit is a chance to brighten someone’s day.
  • Minimum one-hour visits so you can build genuine, trusting relationships.
  • A role that keeps you active, social, and connected — perfect if you're looking for purposeful engagement rather than a fast-paced job.

  • 5.6 weeks of holiday
  • 3% pension contribution
