They are looking for a person with the drive to be a long term prospect for the business.Due to expansion they are looking for an Emission Testing Equipment Calibration Engineer , you will be:-Working a 40 hour week Monday to FridayThe 40 hour week includes travelling to and from the sites at the start and end of the dayCalibration of emission testing equipment at main dealers , MOT stations, and car garages – 3-4 sites per dayCarrying out diagnostics and repairs when neededCompleting and submitting relevant testing paperworkCovering the Suffolk, Essex, parts of Hertfordshire and parts of CambridgeshireSkills Needed to be a calibration / service engineerIdeally based around the Chelmsford would be ideal but anyone on patch would be consideredYou need to be computer literate and have written and spoken EnglishHaving any experience with emission testing equipment would be very beneficial but its not essential as you get full trainingExperience doing service, repairs, calibration or repairs on related equipment would be greatYou need to have an electro mechanical mind and be proactive in your approach to workSalary and Benefits of a calibration and service engineer33.5 – 34.5k basic salary – this goes up to 35-36k after your 6 month probation period25 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysOvertime if you are out of the house for longer than
