Contract: Full time, Temporary for 12-months
Pattern: 35 hours per week (9:00 - 5:00pm Monday to Friday)

We have a temporary 12-month opportunity to join our Business Support Team as a Business Support Assistant (Receptionist)

Our Business Support Team provides a specialist, centralised administrative function to the Queens Cross Group. Their main administrative tasks are making sure the statutory and legal compliance standards are met; databases are kept up to date and complex enquiries are resolved at first point of contact. This will involve liaising with customers internally and externally to avoid unnecessarily signposting to various parts of the organisation.

Role Overview

Your role will be to provide a professional and friendly reception service for the QC Group. You will learn to respond to customer enquiries at Frontline through many different channels, including telephone calls, emails, QCHA App, QL worktrays, social media and from our website. Your role will include carrying out administrative tasks from across the Group and supporting the wider teams with service delivery.

The post holder will be expected to meet the competency levels expected of all Queens Cross staff, with a particular emphasis on attitude, behaviours, and a customer-first approach.


Essential Criteria

Minimum 6 - 12 months experience of working as part of a team in a demanding front line customer service environment.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience with data recording, input and records management.
Experience and working knowledge of MS outlook and customer management systems.
