Reed have partnered with a national waste management company, recruiting for a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to focus on new business in Taunton, Somerset, and the surrounding areas inclusive of Weston-super-Mare, Taunton, Highbridge and Glastonbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships and driving revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. What makes this role exciting?Every business use waste management services provider, your job is to identify opportunities, connect with decision-makers, understand their needs, and bring them on board. Package Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)Bonus: Uncapped, realistic OTE of £12,000 (paid quarterly)Job Type: Full-timeLocation: Taunton, Somerset (Field-based) – Option to work from the local depot once a week Key Responsibilities Drive profitable new business within your territory to exceed targetsBuild and manage a robust sales pipelineRecord all activity (calls, leads, quotes, contracts) in the CRM systemDeliver regular performance reportsCollaborate with regional management on sales strategiesNegotiate pricing and close deals effectively What We’re Looking For Proven success in new business salesStrong pipeline generation skillsConsistent track record of hitting and exceeding targetsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyFull, clean UK driving licence Benefits Competitive salary + uncap
