We're looking for a Business Development Consultant to join our high-performing Business Development team at AJ Bell. In this role, you'll be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious growth targets by building and nurturing relationships with financial advisers and promoting the benefits of the AJ Bell Investcentre platform and investment solutions. What you'll be doing: Proactively generating interest in the AJ Bell Investcentre platform by engaging with key stakeholders at adviser firms.Promoting our Managed Portfolio Service and multi-asset funds, ensuring advisers clearly understand the value they bring.Converting new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing financial adviser firms.Identifying, developing, and securing small to mid-sized new business migrations.Driving lead generation through targeted outreach and proactive communication.Delivering a seamless onboarding experience for new firms, including tailored training and ongoing support.Following up on high-potential leads passed through Marketing and the Business Development Support team.Conducting face-to-face meetings as needed to deepen adviser relationships and secure business. What we're looking for: Proven experience in a platform and investments environment, ideally within financial services or fintech.Strong understanding of investment platforms, financial adviser business models, and investment solutions.A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.A highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach and a track record of achieving sales targets.Organised and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.Passionate about learning and development, especially in working towards relevant
