About Us Taylor Brown Recruitment is a growing recruitment agency working across multiple sectors in the UK. We’re expanding our business development team and looking for a driven, confident, and reliable individual to help us connect with companies actively hiring. Role Overview Your primary responsibility will be to cold call businesses across the UK to identify whether they are hiring and to assess the seriousness of their recruitment needs. You will act as the first point of contact, generating qualified leads for our recruitment consultants. Key Responsibilities Make outbound cold calls to UK businesses daily. Prospect and identify companies with genuine hiring needs. Follow a clear call structure using the sales script provided. Ask qualifying questions to assess whether a company is seriously hiring and not just browsing. Record conversations, key details, and hiring requirements accurately. Report back daily/weekly on companies that are ready to engage with our recruitment services. Maintain professionalism and represent Taylor Brown Recruitment positively during all communications. What We’re Looking For Confident communicator with a clear, friendly phone manner. Experience in cold calling, telesales, or lead generation (preferred but not essential). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated. Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently. Comfortable following scripts while keeping conversations natural.
