We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Compliance Manager to join us at Alderman Tooling Ltd, a leading metalwork manufacturer in Plymouth. You will lead our efforts in regulatory compliance, quality, workplace health & safety and environmental management. Reporting directly to the Operations Director and serving as a key member of the senior management team, this role plays a strategic part in shaping operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the business. A strong manufacturing background is essential, with experience in welding and fabrication considered highly desirable. As Business Compliance Manager at Alderman, your responsibilities will include: Leading company-wide compliance across quality, health & safety and environmental standardsOwning ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 systems (we’re also working towards ISO3834-3 as we move into Defence work), including audits and continuous improvementAdvising senior leaders on regulatory risk, operational controls and best practiceDriving internal audits, risk assessments and corrective actions using structured methodologiesWorking closely with production leadership to embed compliance into daily operationsOverseeing supplier compliance, approvals, audits and documentation standards At Alderman, we’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager with: Previous experience managing ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 standardsA strong manufacturing background, with exposure to welding and fabrication environmentsWorking knowledge of internal audits, PPAP documentation and structured problem-solvingExperience delivering health & safety systems aligned with UK legislationFamiliarity with lean principles such as 5S or 6S and continuous improvement frameworks To apply for this role as Business Compli
