About
I am working on a r project structured around three clear flows — Platform, Products, and Services — forming the foundation of Jos Dirkx Studio. SERVICES: Book me for a keynote or advisory work. PRODUCTS: Explore and buy my creative products — the musical, four books, two courses, and Keynotes in Concert. PLATFORM: Watch, listen, submit an idea for investment, or get in touch easily. At the same time, I want to build a clean backend that positions me to connect with major AI ecosystems — OpenAI (Apps SDK + MCP), Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini — so the Studio and its offerings are discoverable and actionable across large-language-model platforms. What I’m Looking For A senior or highly capable full-stack developer who can independently design, build, and deploy a minimal but robust backend that connects my website to these AI ecosystems. You should understand (or be quick to learn) the OpenAI Apps SDK and Model Context Protocol (MCP) and be comfortable deploying RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specs. Core Deliverables 1. Backend / MCP Server Lightweight service hosted on Vercel (or Render). Implements Model Context Protocol (MCP) for OpenAI’s Apps SDK. Defines four key tools (each supporting media display and structured input/output): tool_book_keynote — handles speaking/advisory bookings (Services). tool_view_products — lists creative works and includes media (Products). tool_about_or_platform — provides the Studio overview and accepts investment/collaboration ideas (Platform). tool_contact — manages general inquiries. (If feasible, a fifth lightweight tool tool_free_update may be added to auto-generate AI insights or updates — optional but desirable.) 2. OpenAPI Spec + Cross-Platform Integration Generate an openapi.yaml specification so the same backend can connect to Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini. Register and test endpoints in Azure AI Studio and Google AI Studio (once public integration portals open). 3. UI Components (Optional but Preferred) Simple widgets such as: Booking confirmation card Media preview card Contact / pitch success message 4. Documentation + Testing Concise README with setup instructions, endpoint definitions, and example requests/responses. Functional testing inside ChatGPT developer preview (Apps SDK). Ideal Candidate: Strong experience with TypeScript or Python (FastAPI) Proven ability to build and deploy RESTful APIs (Vercel / Render / AWS Lambda) Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, MCP, or adjacent frameworks Knows how to write OpenAPI specs and integrate with Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini Bonus: UX/UI sensitivity — ability to build minimal, brand-consistent UI components Independent, communicative, and efficient — able to deliver quickly with minimal supervision Project Scope & Timing Estimated workload: ~35–45 hours total (1–2 weeks part-time). Start with all tools in scope — no phased build needed. Goal: fully functional prototype, cleanly documented and tested. To Apply Please include: A brief note on your relevant experience (OpenAI, MCP, or AI integrations). Links to 1–2 similar projects or GitHub repos. Your estimated timeline and total cost for this project. This is a perfect project for a developer who loves building elegant, future-ready systems at the intersection of AI, creativity, and storytelling.
