BSL Teacher - Full Time - September Start - Birmingham Location: BirminghamPosition: BSL (British Sign Language) TeacherStart Date: February 2026Contract Type: Full Time, Ongoing A vibrant and inclusive school based in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and qualified BSL Teacher to join their team full-time from February 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator with a strong background in British Sign Language and classroom teaching to make a real difference in the lives of young people. As a consultant working closely with this welcoming and supportive school, I am looking for Teachers who are enthusiastic, committed and able to deliver high-quality teaching to students with hearing impairments or who use BSL as their primary means of communication. You will be teaching students from EYFS - KS2. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentA recognised qualification in British Sign Language (minimum Level 3, ideally Level 6)Proven experience teaching in a school settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs The Role: Deliver engaging, tailored lessons using BSLSupport students with hearing impairments across a range of subjects and age groupsWork closely with other staff and support services to ensure a cohesive learning environmentPromote an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere If you are a qualified teacher with a background in BSL and are looking for your next challenge in a supportive Birmingham school, I'd love to hear from you
