Since 2003, we’ve remained focused on helping independent brokers meet their challenges and open up new opportunity The Cobra Network Broking Desk supports our member brokers by offering a wholesale broking facility that can be accessed either manually via telephone/email or digitally via the CobraQuote portal. We are building on an already strong, service-led culture whilst bringing a sharper sales focus to achieve stretching revenue targets. As the Broking Desk Manager, this role has been designed to create a vibrant, sales-focused team where success and fun is a key driver. About the Role Lead, develop, and energise the Broking Desk to deliver outstanding service and commercial results.Drive sales performance, pipeline discipline, and activity management to meet and exceed revenue targets.Champion a “service + sales” mindset; maintain high service standards while unlocking upsell/cross-sell opportunities.Increase digital adoption and efficiency through CobraQuote while optimising manual phone/email workflows.Build trusted relationships with member brokers; act as a problem-solver for complex or non-standard risks.Shape market strategy: develop insurer relationships, understand underwriting appetite, and negotiate terms.Own MI and performance reporting; track KPIs, conversion, leakage, product mix, and service SLAs.Strengthen process, quality, and compliance (FCA/Consumer Duty) across the desk.Recruit, coach, and mentor team members; embed a culture of learning, recognition, and fun.Collaborate across the wider business to refine propositions and deliver growth initiatives.
