Bricklaying LecturerAnnual Salary: £26-£33 per hourLocation: South East LondonJob Type: Full-time (open to part-time)We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bricklaying Lecturer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a professional with a passion for teaching and bricklaying, aiming to inspire and educate students from Level 1 to Level 2 in bricklaying skills.Day-to-day of the role:Teach bricklaying to students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 2.Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the bricklaying department.Deliver high-quality education and support students in achieving their career and life ambitions.Promote bricklaying courses and the Construction curriculum at marketing events and through various channels.Engage with students effectively, using your industry experience to enhance learning outcomes.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in bricklaying.Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and articulating clearly to class groups.Efficient administration skills for maintaining accurate student records.Benefits:Competitive hourly rate (£26-£33 per hour).Opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment.Chance to make a significant impact on students' careers and lives.Support for professional development in further education teaching.To apply for this Bricklaying Lecturer position, please submit your CV
