The role Cabrini Health is seeking an experienced Breast Care Nurse Consultant to deliver specialised care to patients requiring breast care services. In this consultative role, you will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to drive continuous improvement in service delivery, ensuring seamless, patient-centered care across the continuum. You will assess service gaps, promote continuous improvement, and deliver clinical leadership within your area Key Responsibilities: Provide expert clinical leadership and specialised care to breast care patients. Work closely with the General Manager/Director of Nursing, medical staff, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Identify service gaps and implement evidence-based improvements. Develop and implement clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures. Lead research initiatives and quality improvement projects. Monitor quality outcomes and ensure excellent care delivery. Key Qualifications: Essential: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Experience in breast disease care and patient/family education Knowledge of clinical improvement and research methodologies Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in breast care or oncology nursing or working towards Master’s degree or in progress, with a focus on research Knowledge of the Victorian health system and private healthcare funding models Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills Advanced IT skills and experience with health-related systems Ability to drive innovation and motivate staff To view the full position description please click here Enquiries should be directed to: Russell Moody - General Manager/DON on 9508 5990 Does this sound like your new role?
