Part-Time – 6-Month Contract - Fully Office BasedA respected professional services provider is seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeping Assistant to support their finance team on a fixed-term, part-time basis from February 2026. This fully office-based position offers 24 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–4:00pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) and provides free on-site parking.This is very much a hands-on support role, ideal for someone who thrives in a small, friendly environment and is confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.Key Responsibilities:Provide bookkeeping support across a portfolio of companies using Sage Line 50.Assist team members with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks.Maintain accurate records, reconcile accounts, and manage entries with precision.Support the wider team in meeting deadlines and maintaining compliance.Help ensure smooth daily operations through proactive and efficient task management.Candidate Requirements:Prior experience in bookkeeping and accounting is essential.Proficiency in Sage Line 50 is required.Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills.Ability to work quickly and accurately under minimal supervision.Comfortable supporting multiple team members across varied tasks.Open to applicants who are qualified or qualified by experience.What’s on Offer:Competitive hourly rate of £16 to £18, depending on experience.6-month contract, starting February 2026.Part-time hours: Monday to Thursday, 24 hours/week.Fully office-based role with on-site parking provided.Supportive, team-oriented w
