We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to look after a portfolio of clients and assist with managing juniors and reviewing work. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and receivable for a portfolio of clientsComplete bank reconciliations with accuracy and efficiencyPreparing and submitting VAT returnsManagement accounts preparationSetting up client software - especially Xero - for clients wishing to undertake their own bookkeepingProviding helpful training to clients on using Xero (including client facing visits)Assist with managing juniors and reviewing work Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Strong Xero knowledge is requiredHave good numerical skills and excellent communication skills to talk with clients both remotely and onsite visitsBe a team player and thrive in a collaborative environment, willing to share knowledge, support colleagues and be happy to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlinesBe comfortable with change and excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic environmentAbility to train clients on Xero Job Benefits Competitive salary33 days annual leave (plus extra after 3 & 5 years’ service) Pension (up to 10% employee contribution, matched by EQ)Life insurance (4 x annual salary) <
