Become Our Bill of Materials (BoM) Configurator - Drive Product Excellence!
Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver with a knack for process and a passion for teamwork? We're looking for a dedicated Bill of Materials (BoM) Configurator to join our IPSD-Medium (IPSD-M) Engineering Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to act as the linchpin between design and delivery. You'll work on both current products and cutting-edge New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, gaining invaluable experience in a global team environment. You'll collaborate daily with Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, directly supporting customer-facing delivery.
What You'll Do:
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in BoM Configuration, you will be crucial to our routes to market:
- Configure new IPSD-M Production and Aftermarket engine build lists to ensure we meet customer requirements
- Maintain existing engine build lists by accurately processing design changes and obsolescence.
- Create new configured groups to support evolving product structures.
- Actively champion continuous improvement within BoM Configuration and the wider Engineering Services team, taking a central role in root cause effective action.

- Exceptional Accuracy and Attention to Detail: The ability to complete tasks with high precision, balancing speed and accuracy to handle a high workload and tight deadlines.
- Strong Organization and Time Management: A proven ability to follow standard processes and meet deadlines consistently to support customer delivery.
- Effective Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written skills for collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams and various seniority levels.
- Problem Solving: The capability to recognise, anticipate, and resolve operational and process problems, with a track record of thinking outside the box.
- Teamwork: A true team player who is dedicated to a positive team morale and achieving shared goals, while also working effectively independently.
- Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Experience in these areas will set you apart:An Engineering background or prior experience in any type of engineering configuration.
- Basic engine knowledge.
- Experience using Siemens Teamcenter.
- Alternatively, for non-engineering backgrounds, experience in leading improvement projects or a product development role would be highly beneficial (this is not a sole project management role).
