Working hours: 40 hours per week, 8.30am- 4.30pm (Tuesday to Saturday)Interview Date: To be confirmedThis is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a Social Enterprise - up-cycling and selling second-hand bikes. Booth House is a Lifehouse accommodating 50 men and women over the age of 18 who are experiencing homelessness.Key Responsibilities:We are looking for an experienced Mechanic who is keen to share their skills with others and would like the challenge of supervising the retail operation in line with the shop supervisor as required. You will work in a modern well-equipped workshop and retail unit where clients develop work and life skills supported by volunteers Your enthusiasm and commitment to working with people demonstrated by excellent customer service skills and patience with trainees will be as important as your experience repairing a wide variety of bikes.
