Reed Business Support are working with a creative and respected business based in Edinburgh that have a brand-new role they are looking to recruit for. The role has not come about due to a leaver; this is a need the client have identified as essential to the business's growth going forward We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in marketing/communications and social media to provide bid support to the firm's senior team at their Edinburgh studio. You will be responsible for creating compelling bid proposals and co-ordinating the submission of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions. Key duties- Monitoring procurement portals to identify potential opportunities and obtaining and distributing tender documents as appropriateManage bids timetablePrepare bid evaluation documents and bid document plansUploading tenders to procurement portals correctly and ahead of deadlinesProviding administrative support for bids including liaising with consultants, arranging meetings, collating bid information and tracking bidsWork on the look and feel of bid documentsUsing our InDesign templates to produce tender documents of consistent qualityProviding generic answers and company information for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Invitation to TendersWorking up bespoke responsesEnsuring our bid library is up to dateProof reading submissionsPreparing case studies and CVsCompleting SPD questionnairesCollate and record bid feedback and record successful bid responses We are looking for someone that ideally has one year's experience in a bid's role and strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
