We Offer

  • Pay Rate: £14 per hour
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday (No weekends!)
  • Contract Type: Part-time - Fully Flexible (Monday to Friday)

About the Role

  • We are looking for a friendly, dedicated Café Assistant to join our hospitality team based at Goldman Sachs. You’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take customer orders and serve food and beverages with a smile
  • Ensure a high standard of customer experience at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming café atmosphere

While previous experience isn’t required (we provide full training), we are looking for someone who is

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Flexible availability – able to work Monday to Friday shifts
  • Basic understanding of English (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to learn and undergo on-the-job training
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and carry light trays or equipment
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow food hygiene and safety procedures

  • Excellent customer service – friendly, approachable, and courteous
  • Teamwork – able to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Communication skills – confident in interacting with customers and team members
  • Attention to detail – especially when handling food and drink orders
