We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work with classroom, pastoral and inclusion teams in a variety of SEN & SEMH schools and alternative learning provisions (ALPs) across North Wiltshire. These vital, hands-on roles involve managing and mitigating challenging behaviour, particularly for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them re-engage with education and achieve their personal goals.The Role: You will serve as a consistent, positive role model, providing crucial support both in and out of the classroom to ensure students remain safe, regulated and focused on their learning. De-escalation & Intervention: Provide immediate and expert intervention to manage disruptive behaviour within the classroom, using proven de-escalation techniques and positive handling strategies.1:1 Mentoring: Deliver targeted individual and small-group mentoring sessions focused on improving emotional literacy, self-regulation, resilience and social skills.Strategy Implementation: Confidently and calmly implement Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) and risk assessments, working with teachers to adapt strategies to meet specific student needs.Pastoral Collaboration: Work closely with SENDCOs, Heads of Years and exter
