Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent guest service.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the POS system with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, equipment, and seating spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
• Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, utensils, and condiments.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
• Follow food safety procedures diligently during food preparation and service.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting overall kitchen operations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience in serving or barista roles is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude with good time management skills to ensure smooth operations during peak times. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
