Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient individual with WEEKEND & WEEKDAY AVAILABILITY to join our vibrant team in a part-time or full time role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality sandwiches and brunch items as well as hot and cold beverages. This role involves preparing and serving various brunch and deli items, preparing and serving a range of hot and cold beverages including alcohol, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. The successful applicant will contribute to a positive café atmosphere while adhering to food safety standards and organisational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of brunch and deli food items in accordance with company standards.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, alcohol, and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
• Handle customer orders efficiently whilst providing friendly and attentive service.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and handling and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, organisation, and presentation at all times.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Requirements

• Flexible scheduling.
• Previous food preparation and barista experience is preferred but not essential.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Effective time management in order to handle multiple orders during busy periods.
• Assist in food and beverage preparation and efficient delivery to customers.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
