About the Role: As a Bag Hall Agent with Swissport, you will be responsible for handling and processing baggage in a timely and efficient manner to facilitate smooth operations within the airport environment. Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and load baggage onto conveyor belts and handling equipment for transportation to aircraft or storage areasUtilise automated baggage handling systems and equipment to track, scan, and transfer luggage to designated flights or destinationsEnsure compliance with airline and airport security procedures and regulations while handling and processing baggageCoordinate with airline representatives, ground crews, and other stakeholders to prioritise baggage handling and resolve any issues or discrepanciesMonitor and maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the bag hall area, including conveyor belts, sorting stations, and storage facilitiesReport any equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisors and follow established protocols for troubleshooting and resolutionAssist passengers with lost or delayed baggage inquiries, providing support and guidance in locating and retrieving their belongingsAdhere to Swissport's standards of service excellence, professionalism, and teamwork in all interactions and tasksEnsure deployment
