- Accountabilities
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team to maintain a quality-first mindset.
- Defining and executing test strategies, including creating detailed test cases.
- Championing quality and promoting best practices within teams.
- Driving test automation through OOP-based frameworks.
- Exploring and developing performance testing strategies.
- Owning test estimation, reporting status, and escalating issues.
- Enhancing CI/CD visibility by integrating automated tests into CI tooling.
- Managing defects proactively by working closely with developers.
- Executing manual testing for exploratory and functional requirements.
- Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in backend QA testing with a focus on automation.
- Experience in testing and automating APIs in microservices and monolithic architectures.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for automation tests.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and defect management.
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in application and test environments.
- Basic knowledge of performance testing principles.
- Experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
