Aviation Team Manager – Tour OperatorSeeking an experienced, hands-on Aviation Team Manager We’re looking for a hands-on Aviation Team Manager to join a busy tour operator. You’ll lead aviation projects, manage fares, build relationships, deal with escalated GDS ticketing issues, support reservations and e-sales teams, and keep our aviation business running smoothly for our travel customers and clients worldwide.What you’ll do as an Aviation Team Manager Lead aviation projects and oversee the daily ticket departmentEnsure reservations teams are updated with fares, special deals, and routing changesManage relationships with GDS providers and e-sales customersLoad specialist fares into GDS systems (Amadeus / GAL) including NDC, I.T fares, cruise fares, corporate fares, and one-waysMonitor competitor activity and pricing across airlinesManage ADM & ACM processes from start to finishAdvise reservations and after-sales teams on service disruptions and ensure contingency plans are followedSupport airline training and co-ordinate team developmentCover the out-of-hours emergency line on a rota What you’ll bring as an Aviation Team Manager Strong ticketing experienceProven travel operations or reservations experience, ideally in a tour operator environmentHands-on experience with fares, airlines, and GDS systems (Amadeus / GAL)Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skillsStrong communication skills and a proactive, detail-driven approachSolid worldwide airline and fares knowledgeExperience managing escalated queries with professionalism What’s on offer for this Aviation Team Manager Competitive salary up to £40,000 DOEOpportunity to lead aviation projects and help shape the operations teamSupportive, high-performing environme
