Audit & Accounts Assistant / Audit Semi-Senior / Audit Part-QualifiedMcGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast-growing Top20 Accountancy Practice who are looking to strengthen their Audit function and recruit a Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA Audit & Accounts Assistant / Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior for their offices in North London. Reporting to one of the Audit Managers, you will be responsible for:Working on a variety of interesting and smaller Audit assignments across multiple industry sectors, liaising with managers and partners when requiredPreparing basic audit files, undertaking audit planning and leading/assisting juniors with fieldworkEnsuring audit assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets agreed with DirectorsSupervising and reviewing jobs completed by junior/graduate members of staffUsing accounting software to provide accurate reporting for Managers, Directors and clientsPreparing basic monthly and quarterly management accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnershipsAssisting with the preparation of statutory accounts under the overall supervision of the Client ManagerCompleting working papers including preparing bank reconciliations, other reconciliations and manual control accountsMaintaining up to date and relevant technical knowledge of the industry and national economic issuesProviding input to new service and product pricing, including assisting with new client quotesDeveloping and applying your technical knowledge through on the job trainingTo be considered for the role you should be a Part-Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant, ideally with 2+ years external Audit & Accounts experience of small and medium-sized corporate businesses, and a working history either in a well-established small or regional Accountancy firm.
