Project Overview: We’re looking for an experienced mobile app developer (Android + iOS preferred) to build a complete Athan (Prayer) App that includes Athan notifications, Qibla direction, Quran with translation, and donation features. The app should automatically detect the user’s location via GPS, calculate accurate prayer times using a Prayer Time API, and notify the user at each prayer time with an Athan (call to prayer) sound. Core Features & Requirements: 🕌 Athan & Prayer Times Auto-detect user location via GPS coordinates. Fetch and calculate accurate prayer times using a reliable API (e.g., Aladhan API or similar). Push notifications and audio Athan alert at each prayer time. Option to choose calculation method (e.g., Umm al-Qura, ISNA, MWL, etc.). 📖 Quran Module Complete Quran with translations and tafsir (API or offline dataset). allow for offline surah download Users can select tafsir/translation language and typography (font size, Arabic script style, etc.). Caching system to allow users to continue reading where they left off even after closing the app. Smooth, user-friendly reading experience with bookmarking support. 🧭 Qibla Finder Compass-based Qibla direction detection via API or device sensors. Calibrate automatically based on device orientation and GPS location. Clean visual interface showing the Kaaba direction. 💝 Donation Feature A donation button prominently displayed (center bottom of Qibla map). Allows users to donate securely via apple + google pay ⚙️ Settings & Preferences Allow users to: Select prayer time calculation method. Choose Athan sound. Configure notification preferences. Switch translation/tafsir language. Adjust Quran font size and script. Technical Requirements: Cross-platform framework (Flutter or React Native preferred). Integration with reliable Prayer Time and Quran APIs. Local caching / offline mode support. Clean, responsive UI/UX with an Islamic aesthetic (simple, elegant, and light). Efficient performance & minimal battery usage for GPS and notifications. Deliverables: Fully functional mobile app (Android + iOS). Source code with documentation. API integrations for Prayer Time, Quran, and Qibla. Admin configuration (to manage donation link, default settings, etc.). Post-launch bug fix support (initial phase). Ideal Candidate: Proven experience developing religious, prayer, or location-based apps. Strong experience with Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS. Familiar with GPS integration, API handling, and notification systems. Attention to UI/UX detail and smooth user experience. Fluent communication and clear progress updates. Bonus Skills: Experience integrating Stripe or PayPal for donations. Familiarity with Arabic typography or Islamic design principles.
