We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASW - Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Assessment & Safeguarding team. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and situations to determine appropriate support and interventions.
Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans that prioritize the well-being and safety of clients and their families.
Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to provide coordinated services and support for clients.
Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring they have access to relevant resources and opportunities.
Provide direct support and counseling to clients, helping them navigate social services and cope with challenges they face.
Monitor clients' progress and well-being, adjusting care plans as necessary and ensuring continuous support.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and service delivery in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Requirements
A recognized degree in Social Work and current registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in social work practice, particularly in assessment and safeguarding.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to child and adult safeguarding and social work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively while meeting deadlines and priorities.
Crisis intervention skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in social work.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £23.73
Location: Westminster, South West London
