This pivotal role will act as the technical lead for all internally assumed reinsurance claims, ensuring accurate and timely processing, in accordance with contractual treaty terms and conditions.You will work closely with the?QBE Group Captive Reinsurer, the?Group Ceded Reinsurance Team, Insurance Operating divisions, and the?Offshore Processing Team, ensuring seamless claims operations and supporting financial close processes. The role also contributes to management reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Group Captives and Ceded Reinsurance teams to ensure alignment on claims strategy and execution. Liaise with offshore processing teams to ensure claims are processed accurately and within agreed timelines. Ensure compliance with treaty terms and conditions and internal controls. Support financial close processes by ensuring timely claims recognition and reporting. Assist in the preparation and delivery of management reports and insights.
