Our client is a leading global institutional real estate investor managing a diversified portfolio of direct real estate and real estate-related investments across multiple geographies and property sectors, including office, retail, hospitality, residential/living, industrial, logistics and alternative assets. They are looking for a suitable candidate to join the Real Estate team as an Associate in London – focusing on credit and hybrid investments across the capital structure. Main Responsibilities Assist in analysing, structuring, recommending and when approved, closing new deals, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentationAssume primary role in financial modelling of transactions with assistance from deal leadAssist with preparation of IC papers for submission to senior investment staffWork with 3rd party managers in the evaluation of eligible transactionsProvide assistance to senior team members in business development, relationship management and manager performance monitoringProvide assistance with the asset management and performance monitoring of existing loan positions and ensure timely and accurate reporting is submitted to control functions and senior management Background & Qualifications Strong academic background, with a degree in finance, accounting, banking or a related discipline2–4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within real estate debt financing, real estate debt capital markets, structured finance, or real estate-focused banking/advisorySolid understanding of real estate financial structures and capital stacks, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and conciselyStrong financial modelling skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracyProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with
